What are the benefits for the participants?

Participants can access a whole conference program in one place and easily manage their registrations: one single account, with access to all conferences.

How are participants managed? What types of lead can I expect from a conference?

Each speaker can access the registrants of their own conference, but won’t be able to see those of other conferences. After the conference, the speaker can download the full list of participants who attended the conference. Speakers are strictly prohibited from contacting participants without offering an unsubscribe option.

Why organise a conference with Saloon and not elsewhere?

Saloon offers the same kind of link between speakers as an actual event would give. Rather than having your own webinar, Saloon means all speakers and companies share common themes, allowing participants to and companies to grow and engage their audience.

Can there be more than one speaker?

Yes, make yourself at home! There can be several speakers, external speakers, one or more moderators, and even an interviewer. Just notify the Saloon team to give you access.

How long should a conference last?

A conference usually lasts between 30 to 45 minutes including questions and answers, but it can also be less. The maximum all-inclusive duration is one hour.

What is the format of a conference?

It depends on each speaker: it can be a webinar or an interactive presentation! We advise all speakers using polls and interactions to do so via chat, for a maximum of 45 minutes.

What technical solution is there for online conferences?

We partner with Livestorm and Zoom.

What communication aides are available for speakers?

Once a conference has been accepted, we will provide you with a banner for communication purposes and sharing on social networks with all the information about the conference as well as the photos of the speakers. We will also send you publication templates.

How do you ensure video and audio quality is good?

We advise all speakers to use headphones or earphones to reduce sound feedback. In the event of a problem, use audio over video. Try to be as close as possible to your Wifi, and if possible by wire to optimize the speed. Cut off all third party and RAM consuming applications.

Is there a presentation model for speakers?

Yes, we will send it to you before the conference

Can we have a moderator for the conference?

For each conference, each speaker has access. It is also possible to have "moderator" access in order to be able to answer messages, questions and launch surveys

Who sends participants follow-up and log-in emails?

Saloon will automatically send emails to the participants which they can add to calendar, and the link to connect to the conference.

Before the conference, can I have a test run?

Yes, you will have a link that allows you to test all the features.

Is there a limit to the number of participants?

No, there is no limit to how many people can join each conference

Can we ask and answer questions live?

Yes! Participants can ask questions and vote for those already asked. Speakers can answer them. There is also a chat for discussions.

Can I create events?

Yes, you just need to go to the event page and click on "Suggest an event". All you have to do is enter the name, description and dates of the event you would like to offer.

Is there a conference limit per company?

Yes: each company is limited to 2 conferences per event.

Puis-je privatiser mon événement ?

Oui, c'est possible. Lors de notre premier appel/rendez-vous, n'hésitez pas à nous le préciser.

Peut-il y a voir plusieurs conférences en simultané ?

Non. Nous privilégions le format une conférence = un créneau spécifique. Selon nous, cela évite le "cannibalisme" entre deux conférences, et laisse à chacun la possibilité d'avoir le taux de participation le plus élevé possible. Pour les mêmes raisons, nous ne proposons pas d'option de break-out rooms.

Je n'arrive pas à créer un compte, que faire ?

Vous possédez deux options pour créer votre compte. Vous pouvez soit créer un compte via votre LinkedIn, soit via votre adresse e-mail. Si vous rencontrez des difficultés à créer un compte, n'hésitez pas à recommencer l'opération sur un autre navigateur, et pensez à vérifier si l'un de vos plug-ins ne vous empêche pas d'afficher la page de confirmation de création de votre compte. Si vous rencontrez toujours le problème malgré ces étapes, n'hésitez pas à nous envoyer un message dans le Tchat Saloon, une personne viendra vous assister.

J'ai créé un compte, mais je n'arrive pas à accéder à mon programme.
